Exterior Design
Even at first glance, it's plain to see that the 2025 Porsche Taycan is something special. Up front, four-point LED headlights provide a dazzling light signature. The updated headlight housings no longer connect to the wheel well vents, making for a sleeker front end look overall. The side profile feels a bit like a Panamera on steroids, with more aggressive wheel flares and cleaner lines than the gas-powered sedans. It's all curves and contours, making the new Taycan feel distinctly like a Porsche. And in the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, the wagon body style means more room inside, and a unique look parked at Cherry Creek State Park.
Interior Design
Inside the 2025 Porsche Taycan, a true sense of opulence takes over. No longer able to rely on the noise of a combustion engine to hide cabin sounds, every bolt, seam, and touchpoint has been carefully considered. The entire cabin feels as though it is built to take you to space, not to the office or grocery store. The dash sits bolt upright, with a pair of displays sunken into the face. Alcantara, leather, and contrast stitching show an immense attention to detail. And even the steering wheel is well considered, with thin spokes that make it easy to settle your hands into the perfect position. Add to that ambient interior lighting, multi-zone climate control, and ventilated seats and you've got a luxurious place to enjoy your next trip.
Performance
If the first-generation Taycan took the world by storm, the 2025 updates are here to redefine the electric car altogether. An update to the battery charging software both increases range and improves charging speed on all Taycan models. Performance starts at 402 horsepower for rear-drive models and 469 horsepower for all-wheel drive Taycan variants. Meanwhile, the Taycan 4S delivers from 522 to 562 horsepower, while the Taycan Turbo gives you 871 horsepower and the Turbo S churns out an incredible 938 horsepower. Finally, the Turbo GT offers a staggering 1,019 horsepower along with aero and suspension improvements for an all-around performance boost. And in each model, a two-speed transmission allows for rapid acceleration and efficiency when cruising, and the low center of gravity means it handles like nothing else on the road. Even better, up to 340 miles of range means your Taycan can handle even road trips with confidence.
Technology
Of course, a model as advanced and exciting as the Taycan comes with no shortage of technology inside. The built-in navigation system not only helps you find your way to your destination, but it offers charge point suggestions based on your trip duration and the estimated battery range. It even lets you sort charging stations by output, so you can find fast chargers for a long road trip. Avoid being left stranded with a system that lets you know about the last charging station between long stretches of driving, and find your way around traffic jams with a live-update navigation system.
Safety
There is a host of safety tech to be had as well, including a semi-autonomous drive mode that allows for hands-free driving on certain roads. Relax and enjoy your highway cruise to work, and then take advantage of forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking systems as you navigate the busy city streets as well. Plus, surround-view cameras make it easy to get your Taycan into and out of tight spots without worry.
